In the final moments of the legislative session in May, 1986, the homeschool bill, SB 795, was passed into statute, 167.031. Although there have been a few changes over the last 40 years, it has stayed relatively intact. Effective Aug 28, 2024, it is now under it’s own statute, RSMo 167.012.
