FHE has been vigilant for over 30 years protecting the freedoms of Missouri home educators. Be part of this vigilance with your support and your donations.
The purpose of FHE is to protect the inalienable right of the parents of Missouri to teach their own children without state regulation or control. Every year, bills come up in the Missouri legislature that threaten the freedom of Missouri home educators to direct the education of their children as they see fit. FHE is present in Jefferson City every legislative session, through our registered lobbyist, to monitor these bills and provide solutions that protect your freedoms. This presence comes with a cost (transportation, housing, food, copies, phone calls). Every year, FHE contacts government officials such as public school principals and superintendants and social workers to correct infringements on the rights of Missouri home educators. Costs from phone calls, letters, and even personal visits occur in these situations. Help support the vigilance FHE provides you and your home school with a donation to meet these expenses.
